Cat Behind the Camera. Photograph by Ronald Kuntz, March 1956. Source: Corbis.
Our Cleveland cameraman will never ask his subjects to “Look at the birdie.” If there were one, He’d probably eat it himself, since he happens to be a cat. The feline photographer, name Tige, is just getting started as a shutterbug. And judging from his first attempts at photography, Tige probably will spend several of his nine lives trying before he’s a professional. What happens when Tige experiments with his master’s camera equipment is the subject of these photos by United Press staff photographer Ronald Kuntz.
